Join the mission at Secure at Home Society as a HIFIS Records Technician, driving data management efforts to combat homelessness in Yukon. Your skills in HIFIS will be central to our success.

In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of the Homeless Individuals and Families Information System to ensure effective information management and compliance. Key tasks include user access maintenance, record classification updates, and statistical reporting. Your collaboration with IT specialists will help troubleshoot issues and enhance workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage HIFIS for accurate information handling
• Maintain secure access lists for sensitive information
• Implement record retention scheduling plans
• Generate reports on system activity statistics
• Address system-related issues with IT support

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant field
• One year of direct HIFIS experience
• Two to three years in records management roles
• Knowledge of federal and territorial privacy laws
• Vulnerable Sector police check
