At the Brucejack Gold Mine in northern British Columbia, you’ll play a key role in the management of water and wastewater treatment systems. The operator is responsible for monitoring various treatment processes and performing necessary water quality tests. A background in water treatment alongside strong communication skills will help you excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate potable water and wastewater treatment systems
• Perform inspections and maintain accurate records
• Monitor chemical feed systems and instrumentation
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards
Requirements:
• EOCP certification in Water Treatment preferred
• Background in operating treatment facilities
• Proficient in chemical handling and monitoring instruments
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Prepared for a remote camp work environment
