As a Military Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support within the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, and Royal Canadian Air Force. Your key skills will include officiating ceremonies, advising the Chain of Command on spiritual matters, and liaising with local faith leaders. The role involves working in wide-ranging environments, directly supporting the spiritual well-being of military personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal and supportive presence to CAF members
• Officiate military ceremonies and special functions
• Advise on spiritual/religious accommodation issues
• Liaise with civilian faith leaders in the community
• Offer compassionate support during significant life events
Requirements:
• Ordained or mandated by a national Faith Tradition
• Graduate-level degree in Faith Tradition formation
• Minimum two years of supervised leadership experience
• Must pass military training and evaluation
• Maintain good standing with Faith Tradition authority
