Drive the Brain Tumour Foundation's mission as a Community Engagement Manager for national events. This permanent hybrid role requires event planning and strong leadership skills to amplify community connections.
In this position, you will manage and develop national fundraising events, including the annual Walk program, to support individuals affected by brain tumours. Collaborate with volunteers and oversee a team member while ensuring operational processes are continuously improved. Your strategic oversight will be vital in achieving fundraising goals and enhancing awareness of the Foundation’s impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the annual national Walk initiative logistics
• Develop plans for community fundraising events
• Create and manage budgets for events
• Coordinate with finance on transactions and reporting
• Foster team-oriented relationships with team and volunteers
Requirements:
• Degree in communications, marketing, or related field
• 7-10 years in event management
• Expertise in volunteer coordination
• Solutions oriented with problem-solving skills
• Service-oriented communication proficiency
