In this exciting role, CoSA VFX Vancouver seeks an experienced Houdini artist to create and manage photo-real lighting setups. The position demands a quick start, focusing on translating creative visions into tangible lighting solutions while collaborating with various teams to ensure quality and efficiency. You will also have the chance to work on look development, enhancing characters and props in a calibrated setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality lighting for CG characters and environments
• Ensure lighting setups compliment plate photography
• Optimize rendering processes with Render Wranglers
• Collaborate with Compositors to resolve lighting issues
• Conduct look development using studio-approved lighting setups
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant lighting experience
• Expertise in Houdini and rendering engines like VRay
• Profound knowledge of photographic lighting techniques
