Join the Risk & Security team at Kwantlen Polytechnic University as a Health and Safety Advisor. Your work will focus on enhancing workplace safety through training and compliance.

In this dynamic hybrid role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of KPU's Occupational Health and Safety Program. Reporting to the Manager, you will leverage your expertise to conduct risk assessments, deliver safety training, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaboration and strong analytical skills are vital to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver safety training programs
• Perform hazard assessments and safety inspections
• Prepare and communicate safety data and analyses




• Investigate incidents and develop action plans
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:
• Completed diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• At least three years in a relevant position
• Detailed understanding of health and safety regulations
• Solid problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel regularly between campuses
