You will be instrumental in the Medical Equipment Management service, ensuring safe operation of over 55,000 devices across the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Responsibilities range from commissioning to troubleshooting and performing maintenance on various medical equipment. The position includes a two-year training program to extend your expertise in medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee commissioning and acceptance of medical devices
• Carry out periodic maintenance and compliance testing
• Identify faults and implement effective repairs
• Execute decommissioning in line with procedures
• Conduct safety tests following health regulations
Requirements:
• SCQF Level 9 qualification in Engineering or Technology
• Proven experience in the repair of medical equipment
• Solid understanding of medical engineering principles
• Robust communication and organizational abilities
• English language proficiency must be demonstrated
