Join the Gillfor Distribution team in Kelowna as a Material Handler. This full time Warehouse Worker position focuses on order assembly and customer service in our Lumber Yard.

As a Material Handler, you will work under the guidance of the Shipping Supervisor. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, maintaining the organization's warehouse, and serving customers efficiently as they enter the yard. You'll also conduct periodic inventory checks and comply with safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload materials in a timely manner
• Conduct quarterly inventory counts and spot checks
• Keep the warehouse organized and tidy
• Assist customers and truck drivers on-site
• Prepare customer orders as needed

Requirements:
• High School Diploma necessary
• Two years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred
• Capable of lifting materials up to 80 pounds
• Knowledge of the lumber industry is beneficial
• Reliable and self-motivated
