This is an outstanding opportunity for an Associate Scientist or Scientist at Canadian Light Source Inc. A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree is required, alongside 1-2 years of relevant experience. You will provide user support, assist with beamline setup, and ensure safety during user experiments. Additionally, you will resolve technical problems and contribute to documentation preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with beamline and endstation setup processes
• Support users in performing safe scientific experiments




• Provide comprehensive user training on beamline operation
• Conduct measurements and analyze experimental data
• Help in beamline upgrade and maintenance efforts

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
• Minimum experience in scientific settings
• Strong knowledge of infrared spectroscopy techniques
• Familiarity with laser systems and optics
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends
