Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, the Cook role involves preparing meals for residents, guests, and staff. You will manage food safety standards, conduct temperature audits, and follow structured recipes while working within a budget. Engaging in planning special meals will enhance the dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals for all dining needs
• Maintain food safety through temperature checks
• Adhere to dietary guidelines and policies
• Contribute to special occasion meal planning
• Participate in relevant training sessions

Requirements:
• Certificate in Food Handling required
• Red Seal Certificate preferred
• Experience in large-scale food preparation
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets essential
• Capable of lifting and handling hot, heavy items
