Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Info Security Analyst (10+ years of experience) to lead third party cyber risk assessments using information security risk disciplines and technology controls
Join a large banking environment supporting global supplier cyber risk assessment initiatives across multiple projects. This role leads and executes third party cyber risk assessments, identifies security gaps, and supports remediation planning across suppliers of varying risk levels. The opportunity offers exposure to enterprise-level security initiatives within a collaborative team environment. Long-term extension potential is available based on business needs and performance.
Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days work from home – could potentially move to 4 days in office

10+ years in third party cyber risk assessments , information security , and IT security risk
Technology controls and information security expertise supporting business organizations and third parties
Participation in complex projects , enterprise initiatives , and large-scale risk assessment activities
Cyber risk assessment , risk mitigation , and remediation planning across suppliers of varying risk levels
Post-secondary education preferred
Nice to Have
CISSP certification or other information security certifications
Banking or financial institution experience
Responsibilities
Coordinate third party cyber risk assessments for new and existing suppliers
Lead completion of third-party cyber risk assessments across business applications, portfolios, and enterprise environments
Communicate cyber risk assessment results to internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate risk mitigation and remediation planning activities with stakeholders
Validate implementation of risk mitigation and remediation plans
Complete assessments in accordance with internal procedures, standards, industry frameworks, and regulatory guidelines
Contribute to reviews of internal processes and identification of improvement opportunities
