NACG is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work on off-road machinery at the Syncrude Aurora site. Enjoy a competitive hourly rate with significant overtime potential.

This position calls for a qualified Journeyperson to handle maintenance and repairs of large equipment, primarily focusing on CAT and Komatsu models. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to safety and excellence in mining operations, with a unique 14 on/14 off schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth repairs and regular servicing of machinery
• Troubleshoot various hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Test and ensure compliance of repaired equipment
• Develop maintenance schedules and scopes of repair.
• Oversee apprentices and provide training as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of post-certification experience on heavy machinery
• Valid Journeyperson accreditation in Off-Road Equipment
• Robust diagnostic and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership
• Basic computer literacy and reporting skills
