Umbrella Family is hiring a Temporary Cook dedicated to delivering healthy meals and snacks for children. This full time position in Dundas promotes food safety and positive kitchen practices.

In this role, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, for a total of 30 hours each week. You will prepare and serve meals that adhere to nutritional guidelines, ensuring children enjoy safe food options. Your contributions will facilitate a nurturing environment, and you will play a vital role in the center’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children
• Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging menus
• Ensure meals comply with allergy and dietary requirements




• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
• Perform grocery ordering and supply maintenance

Requirements:
• Previous kitchen experience beneficial
• Familiarity with Canada's Food Guide essential
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Flexibility to assist in other center duties as required
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cooking
