As a Tool Designer at Bombardier's Marcel-Laurin Plant, your role will include night shifts that begin in the early afternoon. You will design and adapt tooling drawings essential for aerospace manufacturing while ensuring effective interdepartmental collaboration during jig testing. Addressing and solving technical challenges in tooling design will be a central responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and update tooling drawings based on method requirements
• Conduct jig testing with other departments
• Maintain robust communication with all stakeholders
• Analyze and resolve design and manufacturing challenges
• Collaborate within a team to meet production goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of design or industrial manufacturing experience
• Proven skills in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX
• Strong client-oriented and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards
