Emcon Services Inc. is recruiting a 310T Truck & Coach Mechanic for winter maintenance in Timmins. This full-time role covers vital equipment repairs and diagnostics.
Your main focus will be on ensuring that all winter maintenance vehicles, including plows and spreaders, are ready and compliant with safety regulations. With your 2-3 years of maintenance experience, you will be key in rapid response to emergency repairs during winter storm events. Strong communication and meticulous record-keeping are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair plow trucks and hydraulic systems
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders
• Conduct safety inspections according to CVOR standards
• Handle breakdown responses during winter weather
• Keep an organized shop workplace
Requirements:
• Valid 310T license is a must
• Minimum 2–3 years in heavy truck maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulic diagnostic practices
• Tool ownership essential
• Willingness to work variable on-call shifts
