Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Engineer - AML/Regulatory who will perform data analysis using SQL, propose data quality rules. The successful candidate is a self-starter who is able to explore data, write accurate SQL code, and create a data lineage document.

Responsibilities:
Ensure data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines.
Support the QA team with data analysis/investigations of complex issues/test cases as part of SIT/UAT/PAT testing.
Provide oversight on post-implementation activities.
Execute code check-in/check-out into the source code repository as part of source code management.
Work closely with the technology team to support code packaging & deployment into higher settings.

Desired Skill Set:
7 years of Business Mindset with experience in creating requirements for the technology team
7 years of expertise in Data Analytics




7 years of experience in Data Exploration and wrangling
7 years of experience in Data quality rules design
7 years of familiarity with various databases – Oracle and SQL Server
Out-of-box thinking
Hands-on experience with SQL
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Nice To Have:
Experience working in the Banking domain
Expertise in AML
Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL
Exposure to Regulatory Projects
