Enhance patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Alberta Kidney Care – North in High Prairie. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care for renal failure patients while working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

As an LPN, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the High Prairie Hemodialysis Unit. Your collaboration with other healthcare professionals will support acute and chronic renal failure patients. To excel, you will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills and adhere to established nursing standards and patient care guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and develop patient care plans
• Provide care in alignment with nursing standards




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress
• Ensure effective communication with patients and families

Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Active registration with CLHA and BCLS-HCP certification
• IV Therapy and Medication Administration course
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs (18kg)
• Experience in Hemodialysis training preferred
