This 6-month contract offers a unique opportunity to work with one of Canada's largest electrical energy suppliers. You will leverage your expertise in Cybersecurity Policy, Governance, and Risk to align frameworks and manage regulatory compliance effectively. The role includes direct collaboration with various units to ensure operational safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and refine cybersecurity policies
• Conduct comprehensive reviews to pinpoint control gaps
• Work closely with business units to address regulatory needs
• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP and BC FIPPA
• Support the transition of security frameworks into operations
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in Information Technology
• At least 3 years directly in Cybersecurity
• Robust background in IT risk management frameworks
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
