Our financial services client is seeking a Enterprise Data Management & Data Quality Lead (10+ years) to design and implement enterprise investment data governance and data quality frameworks using Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Bloomberg, BNY Eagle, and FactSet

Join a strategic Asset Management data initiative focused on building a centralized enterprise investment data ecosystem and trusted golden source data capability. This role leads the design and implementation of enterprise data governance standards, data quality controls, stewardship models, and operating frameworks across critical investment data domains. The position offers enterprise-wide visibility across portfolio management, trading, operations, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders. The successful candidate will influence the future state of investment data management and data quality practices within a large-scale financial services setting.

Must Haves

10+ years in Enterprise Data Management , Investment Data Governance , Security Master Management , Data Strategy , or Investment Operations

Leadership of Enterprise Data Management initiatives within Asset Management , Wealth Management , Pension Funds , Institutional Investment Firms , or Financial Institutions

Expertise with Databricks , Microsoft Azure , SQL , Bloomberg ,



BNY Eagle , and FactSet

Development of data governance frameworks , data stewardship models , golden source investment data , and enterprise data quality controls

Nice to Have

Leadership experience within pension funds, asset managers, global banks, or institutional investment firms

Cloud-based data modernization initiatives

Data lineage, metadata management, and master data management solutions

Python, Spark, and advanced analytics experience

Exposure to both Asset Management and Wealth Management business models

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Asset Management Enterprise Data Management strategy

Define the target-state operating model for investment data governance and stewardship

Establish enterprise data standards, policies, control frameworks, and governance processes

Lead workshops to define data quality requirements, validation rules, and acceptance criteria across investment data domains

Design and implement enterprise data quality standards and business validation frameworks

Partner with engineering teams to operationalize data quality controls within Databricks and Azure environments

Serve as SME across Security Master, reference data, pricing and valuation data, benchmark data, positions, transactions, corporate actions, and portfolio hierarchies
