This role requires the preparation of detailed designs for various transportation infrastructure projects while overseeing construction administration tasks. As a candidate, you will coordinate with clients and manage project specifications, ensuring adherence to guidelines. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to marketing efforts for project expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare designs for municipal transportation projects
• Oversee construction administration for new or rehabilitated roads
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Mentor and coordinate junior staff within the team
• Assist in preparing proposals for new business opportunities
Requirements:
• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) or CET with a minimum of 10 years experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project
• Experience in planning and detailed design of transportation projects
• Strong skills in cost estimating and specification writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively
