EIL Global is seeking a freelance IT Support Engineer in Nelson, BC. Deliver exceptional onsite support, focusing on desktop and network troubleshooting for high client satisfaction.
In this role, you will engage in delivering prompt technical support for various challenges. You will be responsible for diagnosing hardware/software issues and performing installations. Additionally, you’ll assist with the configuration of routers and switches while documenting solutions per company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues for desktops
• Perform system installations and re-imaging tasks
• Assist with LAN and WAN troubleshooting
• Support and configure network routers and switches
• Document resolutions following company procedures
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of IT support experience
• Solid skills in desktop support and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking principles
• Excellent communication and customer-service approach
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
