Become a Women's Support Worker at YWCA Regina and empower those in crisis by addressing their vital needs. This role focuses on safety, housing, and health support in a daytime capacity.
In this permanent full time position, you'll adopt a trauma-informed and harm reduction approach to assist women and families facing complex barriers. You'll work a rotation which includes weekends, making a tangible impact from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Your ability to foster trust will be essential in supporting clients seeking to improve their situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish connections with community members through presence
• Refer individuals to appropriate support services
• Prepare case reports and planning documents
• Connect clients to cultural programming and ceremonies
Requirements:
• No educational qualification required
• 0-6 months of applicable experience
• Knowledge of local services and supports
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends
• Strong commitment to client-centered practices
