In this role, you'll assess psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans. Your contributions will influence patient flow and advocate for continued care, ensuring all individuals receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage psychosocial evaluations and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with Emergency Department staff for smooth operations
• Provide crisis counseling and support psychiatric patients




• Document assessments and responses according to standards
• Participate in quality improvement and training initiatives

Requirements:
• Approved graduation from a School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• One year of recent mental health experience
• Solid understanding of psychiatric care methodologies
• Committed to patient-centered and culturally sensitive care
