Drive employee safety at the Comox Valley School District as the Manager of Physical and Psychological Safety. Focus on promoting mental and physical well-being across the school district.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources, this managerial position emphasizes collaboration in safety strategy development and execution. You'll engage with unions and employees to address psychological safety and workplace violence issues, ensuring compliance with health regulations and best practices. Your leadership will support both health initiatives and attendance management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with committees to promote health and safety awareness
• Investigate reports of workplace bullying and harassment




• Train leaders on workplace psychological health strategies
• Oversee compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations
• Identify employee attendance issues related to psychological safety

Requirements:
• Degree in human resources or equivalent experience
• CPHR Designation preferred
• Proven investigation skills in multi-union environments
• Ability to communicate effectively in crises
• Robust computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
