Join Columbia Basin Trust as an Occupational Health & Safety Lead and make a tangible impact in Castlegar, BC. Champion safety initiatives while collaborating within a supportive Power Operations team.

In this permanent, full time position, you'll take the lead in evolving the Environment, Health & Safety Management System. Your role focuses on safety coaching, facilitating training, and enhancing compliance through thorough inspections and incident investigations. Your contributions will directly influence safety culture and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and improve safe work procedures and risk analyses
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions
• Provide field support through site visits and training




• Track KPIs and analyze safety performance metrics
• Aid during outages with emergency preparedness and response

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of OHS experience
• Current OHS certification required within 6 months
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and good driving record
• Advanced First Aid certification preferred
