Join Redpath Canada Limited as a Jumbo Bolter Operator in Red Lake, ON, and further your skills in a rewarding underground mining environment. This full time role involves a challenging 14-on, 14-off shift schedule.
As a Jumbo Boltor, you will leverage your extensive experience in drilling and scaling to enhance safety and productivity. Your responsibilities will include assessing ground conditions and mentoring others to maintain site standards. Significant focus will be put on compliance with health and safety systems established by Redpath.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular visual inspections of working areas
• Implement ground control according to site requirements
• Train offsider on safety and operational protocols
• Perform face preparation and minor repairs on equipment
• Document daily checks and submit reports to supervisors
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in Jumbo Bolting
• Knowledge of underground mine regulations
• Experience with scoops and loading blasts
• Ability to work independently and in a team
