We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Litigation law group at our Downtown office . This is a full‑time, in‑office, permanent position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Organizing and managing client files
Receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and organizing documents
Creating lists of documents
Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other court documents
Communicating with clients and opposing counsel
Conducting court searches
Conducting research on case law, records, court files, and other legal documents
Providing assistance on other files as needed
The Ideal Candidate has:
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills and is highly organized
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high volume and quick‑paced environment
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
A paralegal certificate and/or diploma from an accredited institution
Minimum 4 years’ experience within a law firm
Minimum 2 years’ experience within litigation
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Experience with iManage is preferred
Experience with Elite Workspace is preferred
Salary:
$80,000 to $85,000 annually
