Join Glencore as a Ground Control Engineer, contributing to secure operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. This full-time role is integral to designing ground control systems across mining sites.

In this position, you'll report directly to the Chief Mine Engineer, focusing on safety and ground stability. Effective communication with various stakeholders, including geologists and project managers, is crucial for program consistency and technical excellence. Your commitment to health and safety will enhance site operations and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor ground stability programs
• Collaborate with site leaders for program direction
• Lead and mentor geotechnical teams on site




• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Participate in on-call rotation within the Ground Control Group

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mining, civil, or geotechnical engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant industrial experience
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities
• Operational credibility with geotechnical teams
• Strong focus on health and safety practices
