Reporting to the Director of Communications & Customer Service, this full time position involves developing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies. You will lead a team, ensuring that communication practices meet the needs of internal departments and the community. The role involves critical supervision, planning, and execution of communication efforts to foster public service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of strategic communication initiatives
• Oversee and mentor Communication Services staff
• Manage internal communications planning and execution
• Coordinate responses to emergent communication challenges
• Produce various communication tools and resources
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Degree in Communications or related field
• Minimum 5 years in communications, 3 in public sector
• Strong writing, editing, and public speaking skills
• Experience supervising communications staff
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
