Step into the role of Senior Structural Engineer at Kleinschmidt, based in Ontario or Halifax. This position offers the opportunity to lead challenging hydroelectric and fisheries projects in a hybrid setting.
We're looking for a licensed Qualified Engineer with a BS, BSc, or BEng in Civil Engineering and a minimum of ten years in structural engineering. Your experience should include hydroelectric design, project management, and technical team leadership. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage hydroelectric and fisheries-related facilities
• Coordinate projects with engineers from various disciplines
• Engage in fieldwork during planning and construction phases
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff
• Effectively communicate with clients on project progress
Requirements:
• Permanent authorization to work in Canada
• 10+ years in structural engineering or related fields
