YWCA Hamilton is hiring a Registered Early Childhood Educator to facilitate learning experiences for children between 18 months and 5 years within an inclusive framework. This temporary position covers 37.5 hours a week with opportunities for qualified growth.

You will ensure adherence to regulations and YWCA policies while implementing enriching, age-appropriate programs. Collaborating with staff and engaging families will be key aspects of your role, influencing children's development in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise children’s safety and learning activities
• Develop innovative weekly programming




• Update documentation and maintain attendance records
• Support students and volunteers in the classroom
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces

Requirements:
• 2 years’ college in Early Childhood Education
• Current registration as an Early Childhood Educator
• Experience is an asset
• Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police check
• Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
