In your role as a Mechanical Estimator, you will collaborate with the sales team to support bids for HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing projects. You will bring advanced technical knowledge to estimate costs accurately, perform quantity take-offs, and provide critical support throughout project lifecycles. Your contribution will help ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address client technical inquiries efficiently
• Estimate mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal projects
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of project specifications
• Develop accurate project estimates in collaboration with teams
• Identify opportunities for value engineering
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of estimating experience in mechanical fields
• Strong background in HVACR and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and industry standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or related field
