Join the Developmental Disabilities Association as a Part time Residential Care Worker in Vancouver. Your role will directly impact the lives of residents with developmental disabilities through support and compassion.
In this temporary position, you will work in a group home, addressing the diverse needs of residents. Providing assistance with daily living, emotional support, and recreational activities are essential components of the job. You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills while working both independently and alongside a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate residents' daily activities and personal care
• Address emotional and recreational needs of residents
• Collaborate with team members for optimal resident support
• Uphold health, safety, and welfare standards
• Drive residents to appointments and activities as needed
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma related to Human Services
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred
• Must obtain Class 4 Unrestricted License
• TB Test and Medical Clearance required
• Eligibility to work in Canada is essential
