In this impactful role within WSP’s Resources subsector, you will provide electrical design expertise for both new and existing projects. Contributing from concept through to completion, your work will ensure clients’ operations run reliably and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design systems for power distribution and control
• Conduct power system studies—load flow and arc flash
• Prepare data sheets for transformers and switchgear
• Verify design accuracy via field evaluations
• Collaborate across disciplines to support projects
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in heavy industrial engineering design
• Registered P.Eng. in British Columbia
• Robust knowledge of CSA and ANSI codes
• Familiarity with control systems and instrumentation
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites as needed
