Cheticamp Boat Builders is hiring a Welder to take on dynamic and skilled work in Chéticamp, NS. Leverage your Red Seal certification and diverse welding techniques to craft and repair exquisite boat components.

In this role, you will manage the fabrication process by interpreting AutoCAD designs into physical creations. Your responsibilities will include welding, installing, and repairing various components, ensuring quality and safety aboard vessels. As part of a specialized team, you will utilize a mobile welding machine and may also receive training in fiberglass and painting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and weld intricate components from sketches
• Install and repair boat parts in office
• Operate mobile welding machinery on vessels
• Drive company vehicles while transporting gear
• Engage in cross-training as project schedules require

Requirements:
• Red Seal welder or equivalent expertise
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, SMAW, and FCAW
• Capability to perform physically demanding work
• Experience working in team settings and autonomously
• Willingness to work in confined spaces
