This role requires a JD degree or LLB and a minimum of five years of experience in construction law. You will analyze legal documents, assess risks, and advise business partners on contractual matters while maintaining high standards in quality work. Your expertise will enhance the legal guidance provided to the assigned Business Units throughout Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal guidance on contracts and construction law issues
• Advise on risk matters impacting business partners
• Analyze and summarize complex legal documents
• Conduct legal research and maintain due diligence documents
• Train business units on legal topics and compliance
Requirements:
• JD degree or LLB; Law Society of Alberta member
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction law
• Solid negotiation skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel and work independently
