Actively participate in analyzing business and technical requirements with business analysts

Design and produce functional and/or technical solution designs (flows, business rules, integrations, application components)

Ensure solutions are aligned with the target architecture, IT standards, and organizational best practices

Collaborate closely with architects, development teams, and quality assurance (QA) throughout the delivery lifecycle

Support teams during solution implementation and contribute to estimations and planning activities

Support testing phases, analyze defects, and help resolve them

Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date design documentation

Act as a subject-matter expert during deployments and support production support activities

Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing within the IT community

Requirements

3 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution design

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Familiarity with complex application environments and integration challenges

Hands-on experience in IT solution design, ideally in an Agile/Scrum environment

Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry (robust asset)

Comfortable with a variety of technologies and platforms, including:



Azure DevOps, .NET 8, Git, SQL Server, MongoDB, BizTalk, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mainframe environments

Intermediate level of English, able to converse with English-speaking partners and colleagues, and to understand and write business documents

Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in IT solution design, particularly within Agile/Scrum environments, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Proficient in maintaining design documentation and mentoring team members to foster knowledge sharing.
