As an Independent Contractor, you will focus on collecting gently used clothing and small household goods from bins distributed in the community. This role enables you to earn income based on the volume of goods collected. Your efforts will directly benefit Diabetes Canada’s charitable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Empty donation bins based on a regular schedule
• Bag items as required (with supplied bags)
• Keep donation areas tidy and clean
• Document weekly service logs as mandated
• Transport items to storage facilities when needed
Requirements:
• Large vehicle (van/cube van/pick-up truck) is necessary
• Possession of a valid Driver’s license
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs required
• Must get an HST number, guidance provided
• Must pass a criminal background check
