Lead the upgrade of GIS applications as a Senior Developer in Ontario’s Land and Resources Cluster. Your role focuses on expanding functionality while ensuring compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee the modernization of Geocortex applications to the VertiGIS platform, collaborating closely with multiple governmental bodies. This position demands strong technical skills and the ability to manage complete project lifecycles, from analysis to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance for system upgrades
• Coordinate testing, integration, and implementation phases
• Conduct analyses of project goals and system feasibilities
• Evaluate recommendations for technical improvements




• Deliver documentation for installation and build processes

Requirements:
• Significant experience using GIS software, preferably ArcGIS
• Background in cloud platform solutions, especially Azure
• Robust knowledge of service-oriented architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Python
• Previous involvement in Ontario Government projects is ideal
