This regular full-time position focuses on managing various bodily injury and property claims while offering strategic legal insights. You'll work alongside experienced legal professionals, providing training and advice to claims teams and helping facilitate the resolution of complex litigation files. Your role will significantly impact our clients’ experiences and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of claims litigation
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful claim outcomes
• Conduct legal assessments and research
• Escalate issues requiring senior management involvement
• Deliver general legal advice across business segments
Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience in insurance defense or personal injury
• A recognized Law Degree (LLB, JD or comparable)
• Membership in the Ontario lawyer regulatory body
• Effective drafting and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with trial processes is advantageous
