Position Overview
This is a role for a product leader who wants to fundamentally change how the platform works, and can prove it, not just pitch it. You will join a small, AI-native disrupt squad within Autodesk’s Platform Services & Emerging Technologies (PSET) organization, accountable for redefining how the platform is experienced, accessed, and built upon.

You won’t be handed a roadmap. You will identify high-leverage opportunities, define what should exist, and demonstrate a dramatically better way through working proofs, using AI, real systems, and rapid experimentation.

Your role is not to write requirements and hand them off. On this team, product thinking, experience design, and engineering are rethinking how to work as an AI native delivery team. As the product-minded AI Builder, you bring deep product thinking into the what and the why, and you stay close enough to the how that your direction is grounded in something real. In practice, that means building AI-assisted prototypes, shaping demos, and working directly with data yourself.

Your focus is not on managing backlogs or operating production systems. You are accountable for turning friction into opportunity and delivering working proofs that make a new approach credible and hard to dismiss.

Responsibilities

Find the seams, bottlenecks, and handoffs that make the platform harder to use than it should be, and identify the few where a different approach creates outsized value for customers and the business

Define what should exist, framing fuzzy, multi-system problems into a explicit direction the team can build against

Decide what to challenge: actively question whether existing capabilities should be replaced, simplified, or significantly improved, and use experimentation to settle it on evidence rather than opinion

Prove it: partner with experience designers and developers, and get hands‑on yourself with AI tools, prompts, and data, to build working proofs that show something actually works, not just that it could

Package the results as clear “before vs after” proof points that make friction visible and the better approach undeniable, creating pull for change across teams

Translate what the proofs reveal into direction: what the platform should become next, and a viable path to get there

Minimum Qualifications





8+ years driving product direction in complex, technical environments, with deep customer and business understanding and a strong track record of using experimentation to discover, validate, and evolve solutions

Acts with agency in ambiguous spaces, setting direction and making progress before anyone hands them a plan

Strong product judgment: consistently prioritizes what creates disproportionate value across systems, not just within a single feature or area

Hands‑on experience building AI‑assisted prototypes or demos (prompt design, agentic workflows, tool integrations) to validate direction

Proven ability to operate across product, engineering, and experience, shaping solutions end‑to‑end rather than handing off between functions

Turns high‑leverage problems and insight into tangible, working outcomes, whether prototypes or proofs, not just requirements, decks, or roadmaps

Strong ability to synthesize user needs, business context, and technical constraints into clear, defensible direction

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams without relying on formal authority

High learning velocity and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑evolving problem spaces

Preferred Qualifications

Shipped 0→1 products or features, ideally in workflow-heavy enterprise products or greenfield SaaS

Ability to structure product intent as an interface for agentic work, validated through hypothesis-driven, metrics‑based iteration.

Experience comparing multiple solution approaches and deciding based on outcomes, not opinions

Familiarity with complex multi‑system environments and navigate platform level changes required to achieve business outcomes

On ne vous remettra pas de feuille de route toute faite. Vous identifierez les opportunités à fort impact, définirez ce qui devrait exister et démontrerez une approche nettement plus efficace grâce à des preuves de concept fonctionnelles, en utilisant l’IA, des systèmes réels et une expérimentation rapide.

Votre rôle ne consiste pas à rédiger des cahiers des charges pour les transmettre ensuite. Au sein de cette équipe, la réflexion produit, la conception d’expérience utilisateur et l’ingénierie repensent la manière de travailler en tant qu’équipe de développement native en IA. En tant que développeur IA axé sur le produit, vous apportez une réflexion produit approfondie sur le « quoi » et le « pourquoi », tout en restant suffisamment proche du « comment » pour que votre orientation repose sur des bases concrètes. Concrètement, cela implique de créer des prototypes assistés par l’IA, de mettre au point des démonstrations et de travailler vous-même directement avec les données.

Votre priorité n’est pas de gérer les carnets de commandes ni d’exploiter les systèmes de production. Vous êtes chargé(e) de transformer les frictions en opportunités et de fournir des preuves de concept fonctionnelles qui rendent une nouvelle approche crédible et difficile à rejeter.

Responsabilités

Identifier les failles, les goulots d’étranglement et les transferts de tâches qui rendent la plateforme plus difficile à utiliser qu’elle ne devrait l’être, et repérer les rares cas où une approche différente crée une valeur exceptionnelle pour les clients et l’entreprise

Définir ce qui devrait exister, en transformant des problèmes flous et impliquant plusieurs systèmes en une orientation claire sur laquelle l’équipe peut s’appuyer pour développer des solutions

Décider ce qu’il faut remettre en question : s’interroger activement sur la nécessité de remplacer, simplifier ou améliorer significativement les capacités existantes, et recourir à l’expérimentation pour trancher sur la base de preuves plutôt que d’opinions

Le prouver : collaborer avec des concepteurs d’expérience utilisateur et des développeurs, et mettre vous
