Make a difference as a Community Support Worker with the Developmental Disabilities Association in Vancouver, BC. This full-time role involves helping clients develop vital life skills and promoting their independence.

As a Community Support Worker, you'll work closely with participants on social and vocational skills while leading tailored programs that meet diverse needs. Your ability to foster an engaging environment will facilitate increased independence for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they thrive in both community and personal settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in daily living activities
• Participate in creating and monitoring personalized service plans
• Lead engaging, client-focused programs




• Promote an inclusive and supportive program atmosphere
• Conduct outreach and provide in office services

Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in relevant field preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience with clients with developmental disabilities
• Must lift 40lbs and perform physical activities
• Valid Driver's License required
• CPR and First Aid certification mandatory
