With a minimum of five years in progressive accounting experience, you will oversee crucial financial processes such as month-end closing and balance sheet accuracy. Your leadership will guide both the receivables team and GBS functions, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Solid analytical skills will aid in minimizing bad debt exposure and maintaining acceptable DSO.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the month-end closing process and financial reporting
• Oversee accounts receivable from order to reporting
• Lead compliance on internal and external audits
• Develop policies for managing overdue invoices
• Prepare Canadian taxation documents
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience, including 1-2 years in management
• CPA, CA, or equivalent required
• Familiar with ERP financial systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
