As an Aerospace Telecommunications and Information Systems Technician, you'll supervise the repair and maintenance of multifaceted telecommunications systems for the Air Force. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on communication equipment, inspections, and liaising with various defense levels. Your role is critical in supporting operational excellence in both Canadian and international missions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on telecommunications and radar equipment
• Oversee inspections and performance tests on systems
• Execute repairs and overhaul maintenance tasks
• Manage installations and conduct acceptance tests
• Advise on electromechanical requirements for telecommunications
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• College diploma preferred for initial training
• Willingness to relocate and deploy as needed
• Ability to work in diverse environments, including outdoors
• Must pass Basic Military Qualification training
