Take on the role of Radiation Therapist I at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre with the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. This full time position is centered on delivering high-quality radiation treatments to patients battling cancer.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurate treatment planning and delivery of ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Therapist II. As a member of our dedicated team, you will contribute to enhancing patient comfort and outcomes. This permanent position will commence on September 15, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and conduct radiation therapy sessions
• Implement treatment plans provided by Radiation Oncologists
• Ensure patient records are meticulously maintained
• Utilize various radiation therapy technologies
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatments
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy required
• Certification from Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C necessary
• Active member of SAMRT and CAMRT
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
• Attention to detail and fine motor accuracy required
