The Calgary Zone is looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant in Gynecologic Oncology at the Foothills Medical Centre. This full time position focuses on providing comprehensive care for women with gynecologic cancer.

As a key member of the medical team, you will assess patients, communicate care plans, and contribute to surgical procedures. Work collaboratively in a supportive environment from Monday to Friday, while maintaining ongoing education as required by AHS and CAPA. Your role is crucial to ensuring continuity of care and enhancing the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan care for gynecologic oncology patients
• Perform consultations in various healthcare settings




• Assist in gynecologic surgeries under physician supervision
• Participate in the education of students and residents
• Round on inpatients and provide post-operative care

Requirements:
• Completion of a Physician Assistant Program
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• BCLS certification required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in acute care settings is a plus
