The Tukimut Program Assistant will play an essential role at Inuuqatigiit Centre, helping the Tukimut Coordinator organize after-school programs, camp activities, and cultural experiences. By ensuring secure spaces, this position enhances the emotional and cultural health of participating youth and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning community-based programming for Inuit youth
• Support daily activities and coordination with Youth Workers
• Create welcoming environments for children and families
• Maintain organized attendance and administrative records
• Aid in purchasing program supplies as needed
Requirements:
• Experience with Indigenous or Inuit communities
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written
• Relevant post-secondary education an asset
• Criminal Reference Check required
• Certification in CPR/First Aid, or willingness to obtain
