In this role, you will report to the Director of Care, ensuring residents receive quality care tailored to their needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining care plans, and directly administering treatments. Collaborate closely with the healthcare team and participate actively in resident conferences and family education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform clinical assessments and documentation accurately
• Implement resident care plans and assess their effectiveness
• Manage medication administration in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate nursing assignments for timely care delivery
• Address resident concerns and emergencies promptly
Requirements:
• Licensed Practical Nurse registration required
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care preferred
• Proficient communication and time management skills
• Current First Aid and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
