Help Pacific Immigrant Resources Society tell impactful stories as an Annual Report Design Volunteer. Collaborate with our Communications Manager to oversee the 2025–2026 report design.
This role is perfect for someone with a background in designing publications and a passion for social impact. You will transform narratives and data into engaging visuals, ensuring our Annual Report is both informative and appealing. Additional volunteer opportunities in graphic design may arise, allowing you to contribute to various communications tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design the layout of the PIRS Annual Report
• Create engaging designs using photography and quotes
• Build infographics and visual tools to communicate impact
• Prepare digital files for print and online use
• Assist in the review process with the Communications Manager
Requirements:
• Experience designing reports or similar publications
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign; skills in other design software are beneficial
• Solid visual hierarchy and editorial design understanding
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently
