As a Security Officer at APC, you will work under the Head Security Officer to ensure the protection of both staff and visitors. This includes implementing crime prevention strategies and responding effectively to emergencies. Strong problem-solving skills are vital in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct security patrols throughout the park and zoo
• Control access to restricted areas, escorting when necessary
• Ensure nighttime building security and oversee related tasks
• Handle emergency situations and assist police as needed
• Complete daily incident and shift reports

Requirements:
• Must possess a valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification required
• Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
• Physical capability to perform demanding security duties
